Puppy 101 Consultation
Puppy 101: Congratulations on your new family member! This consultation is the go to guide for new owners who are looking to get their puppy off on the right paw! This 90-minute session is designed to give you all of the information you need to know about raising your new puppy such as:
- Potty training and preventing potty accidents.
- Crate training
- Important developmental stages
- Socialization (how to safely and appropriately socialize your new puppy).
- How to address undesirable behaviors such as jumping and biting.
- Getting ahead of anxious behavior (separation anxiety)
- Getting your new puppy comfortable with handling for vet exams and grooming.
This is your opportunity to discuss any questions you have and review your puppy set up at home with a professional. Your consultation also includes a follow up email report outlining our training plan/homework and includes any additional resources and recommendations, as well as your Puppy 101 Booklet which includes training games to work on with your new puppy. By the end of the consultation you will feel confident that you have the tools and information you need to raise a well-balanced and confident dog!
Age: 8 weeks – 6 months
***If you have observed any fearful, timid, or reactive behavior (barking/lunging at strangers and/or dogs), please contact us as early as possible!
New Client Puppy 101 Consultation:
In-Person Puppy 101 Consultation- $250.00
Virtual Puppy 101 Consultation – $225.00
Follow up sessions are approximately 45 minutes in length and include review of progress, hands on training, and updated homework plan.
Continuing Private Sessions – $115.00 individually (packages available)
